One of my best friends has been making me feel awful, what to do?
I see her everyday at college and we often hang out together outside of school as well. She left to travel to Europe in the beginning of this past December. She texted me to hang out before she left and I told her I still had some final exams to write so maybe we could hang right after that and before she left. She didn't text me back and left to Europe. A week later I texted her to have a good trip and how she's doing but she never replied.. Then about another week later I asked how her trip was going on her facebook but she also never replied and continued to post after that, ignoring it. Anyway, my birthday is on new years (it is very easy to remember..) and she didn't text me happy birthday or write on my facebook wall or anything, even though she put up 'Happy New Year' statuses and posted 'New 2014' selfies. I know she's far away and probably busy but still.. she had time to post photos and everything on my birthday but not enough to wish me for a few seconds. Not to mention that she hasn't replied to my texts for over one month now.

She's going to return next week, and I'm not sure if I should bring it up then. Like she would have just come back from a long trip and telling her right away how bad I felt about all that would just seem plain rude. But she's also the type of girl who literally doesn't notice when she's being negligent to a friend until they tell her, and then she feels really bad about it.

If you were me, what would you do? And should I bring this up when she's back or wait, or what? I feel very hurt and confused right now Sad
I am a girl... omg we are best friends not lovers..

You are a fool and still don't know it.

Before she left, she wanted to spend some special time with you and you blew it.

Now, you are wondering why she is ignoring you. Man, you are clueless ...

Get some flowers and apologise to her.

First don't tell her your feelings straight away. just talk normal and see her reactions like if she is trying to ignore you or tries to come back into the friendship. If she is ignoring you then she wants to move away from you and if she comes back in friend after all that time not even a text or Facebook message she is basically using you for stuff. If someone really cares about you deep from the heat they will keep contact with you even if you don't contact them. I think you have showed her that you don't care about her because you should of had been with her before she left. Friend is more important than anything in the world.
