Adblock Plus doesn't work at all?

I restored Firefox to its default state because it was overrun with annoying pop-ups and other random advertisements and the first thing I did when opened up Firefox again was to install Adblock Plus again, but this time it doesn't block any ads at all. I don't have the annoying pop-ups anymore, but now it's not even slightly doing its job. Google, Youtube, Yahoo!, Facebook, and every other site I use are still loaded with ads just like they use to be. What's wrong with Adblock and how to I fix it?

AdBlock works fine on Chrome.

Try regular Adblock. I had the same problem with Firefox.

Try Waterfox, i have been using Firefox for 6 years and just stuffed my computer so switched to Waterfox It's Identical to firefox all addons work Faster and doesn't crash anywhere like firefox does and just runs so smooth. i won't be going back. And adblock plus works perfect on my Waterfox.

Are you sure that you've added filters? Check in Filter Preferences.
