My tips:
Login to your Instagram account and make your profile look appealing.

Then find a list of celebs that use Instagram, here* is a good starting point.

What your going to do is follow the celebs and popular users that you can. Then wait for 4 - 5 hours and unfollow them, then re-follow them and you will be back at the top of their followers list.

The reason why this is good is because lots of marketers use the method of following popular members followers with their spammy accounts. So being at the top of celebs followers lists will mean your id gets scraped all the time and you end up getting random followers. They might not convert into active users, but they will help your account grow.
