Received a facebook confirmation code I didn't request?

I just received a text message that said "###### is your Facebook confirmation code Or visit http://s.fb.com/###############"

I thought maybe someone was trying to get into my account so I went to log in and pretended I didn't know my password so I could put the code in for myself to see what it was for exactly, and had to send another to myself, but the new one I sent to myself said something different "Facebook Password reset code: ######. Or reset your password here: http://fb.me/###############"

What could the first code be for, and why would I have gotten it, if I didn't request it, and it doesn't seem to be related to a hacking situation.

The first one is an obvious scam. Just ignore it and do not follow the link.
Monitor your FB account just in case, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam.
