what should i study in college?

hi everyone, i'm about to go to college and as you know there are tons of majors. so i cant decide what i really want/should get into anyway help me out.
these are the options : based on job opportunities - difficulty - job starting salary and how much i like it- social status > in order in my country ofc
1- economics ( easy - low job opportunities - low starting salary - i like it the most - medium social status)
2- information technology ( hard - great job opportunities - medium starting salary - kinda like it- good status)
3- petroleum engineering (extra hard- good job opportunities - very high salary - dont like it - great status)
4- law school ( medium - medium job opportunities - low salary - kinda like it - no status)
5- English ( very easy - low job opportunities - medium salary - like it very much- bad social status)

Well, I'd go for whatever you enjoy the most. You only get one life mate so you might as well do what you like doing. Not what pays the best but is a bit more boring. That's just me though. Go with what you think is right.
