How to get a shy guy to speak up/ talk to you?

I like this guy but he's really shy; i barely know him and our personalities are the opposite. I'm outgoing and he's shy, though we have tons in common (sports,music,etc.). The first time I talked to him was last Sunday, and I only see him on Sundays in a class we have together. I always sit at one table with my friends and he always sits at another table with his friends, so we don't really have a chance to talk. Plus, when we DID talk, it was basically 20 questions. He was smiling the whole time (he's always smiling) and gave a laugh with all his answers, but all his answers were either yes or no, and nothing more. I think he doesn't even know my name, and he didn't tell me his last name so if I add him on Facebook it would be odd. I think he's super cute and want to get to know him better, I just don't know when, where, or how to approach him. I don't know how to get him to open up and if I sit at his table or something, the people in my Sunday class will know something's up, and my friends will probably wonder why I like him since we JUST met him. Plus he probably won't talk to me unless I ask him small talk questions. How do i get him to speak up (if possible)? Will he be annoyed if I'm persistent about talking to him?

Don't worry It's not big problem, I know your feeling...so what are you going to do?
The best thing for you is to know the strategy or the best method. I just watch one video and may be it's similar to your problem , watch it and you can get new idea and can answer by your self.

Be patient. He will open up eventually. My bf is shy, and a bonus to that is how shy guys are great in bed.

Forget what other people think. You need to have a outgoing personality, get to know his friends first and then just sit with his group. Talk to them all. If anyone asks say you feel you need to get to know more people in your school. You already know he will say yes and no to questions so set yes and no questions. Like would you like to go out with me? Ps I'm not sure how you would add anyone to facebook if you didn't know their full name.
