Facebook account created by somebody else?

I created a new hotmail account (for example, jessica12345) in order to sign in to a website.
Less than fifteen minutes later (I'm not sure of the exact timing) a Facebook account
was created with that hotmail address.
I cannot log in to the Facebook account. I have tried to reset the password to find out what exactly happened. However none of the reset code e-mails have arrived at the hotmail account that I created.
I am confused about what happened.

I created the hotmail account, for example jessica12345@hotmail.com and my name was Jessie Jones.
The name on the Facebook account is Jessie Messie. I am really confused. Could Facebook account creation software have created an account for my new hotmail address? It did it so quickly...

sometimes people will clone you on facebook. so if they saw your profile and your name they will try to make a cop[y of you on facebook. this happened to my friend and someone took pictures of her from her myspace account and used it on facebook and pretended to be a clone of my friend
