I need this laptop to be able to handle high level video editing / music editing, as well as low-mid-range gaming and social networking.

My budget is approximately $800, so if you can recommend a laptop better than this one within that price range that would be great.

Thanks

My mother has this exact laptop. I also fix up computers. This is an excellent everyday streaming laptop, BUT this is a poor gaming & processing(editing) laptop. It only gets '1.9GHz'(actuallyr1.8, unless you over-clock which will kill it).It should have atleast 3 GHz, 4 Ram(preferably 8), 300+ MB GPU RAM & 1TB Hard drive. I would say, if you look you can easily find this in your price range. Don't worry about OS, aslong as it has Vista or above it will be great. I actually prefer Vista over Windows 7 & 8. I think 8 is bollocks. you can get this PC if you want, upgrade the parts(Super easy), & sell the old parts. In the end spending about 40 above. If I were you I would do that but spend my money buying the best stuff you can so you diwn alot.

Hope I helped! :3
