Is Facebook timeline worth it?
So...
As of this moment I've seen only one person with the new Facebook timeline layout.
I just want to know if you guys think it's worth it?
I seriously don't want to upgrade early to a crap system without being able to convert back.

I dont think its worth it. It is pretty much like regular facebook profiles, but you cant switch back. It also is an akward layout and is hard to get used to. I wouldnt suggest it. I dont have it myself.

Like you, I was quite hesitant to change over to the new look. However, now that I've done it and gone through the tour etc I've warmed to it. It's not terribly different to the previous layout, I think.

I assume you have taken a look at it and seen what the layout is like. I like the fact that it uses two columns to display your information, and posts in general are larger than in the previous layout, which makes image sharing a bit better. Basically, you get to see more of your posts on the page at once. You can even select a certain post to take up the entire width of the page if it's really important. It also allows you to jump to a certain year, to see what your posts were like earlier in your facebook life, a feature I'm not thrilled about but others might enjoy.

In the end, it's gonna be forced on everyone, whether they like it or not. This has happened in the past, facebook's not gonna ask for your permission, but they are letting you know. I reckon you should get it, that way you'll be used to it sooner. I did, and I'm glad I did.
