How to set my facebook page so that no one can add me, only i can add them?

I came across this profile on facebook that didn't have a "add as friend" button even though we have mutual friends. Now i read somewhere that this is because the user has set his page so that "nobody can send him/her friend requests, only he/she can add somebody as their friend"....Now i wanted to know as to how is this done because in facebook privacy setting, the setting for "send me friend requests" has two options 1) "Everyone" and 2) "Friends of Friends".....Now if these are the only two privacy setting options as far as receiving friend requests goes then why can't i send this profile a friend request even though we have mutual friends (which makes me a "Friend of Friend")....I can't be on ignore list because then this profile would not pop up in my search index, neither would facebook have allowed me the option of "send a message" to this profile(because if you are on the ignore list of a profile then you can't connect with that profile in any way).....So what has been done in this profile and how ?
Manish---The facebook "Send me Friend request" button has two options "Everyone"(i.e. anybody can send friend requests) and "Friends of Friends"(i.e. only a friend of a friend can send friend request).....now as i mentioned about the profile i saw, i have a mutual friend(which makes me a friend of friend), but still i can't send a friend request....plus i read that there is this option in facebook where nobody except the user himself ((and i mean nobody, not even a friend of friend can send a request) can send a friend request.....so u'r answer doesn't solve my problem...

Its very simple just follow the following instructions
first of all go to privacy setting and and der u will find one option as Basic Directory Information and beneath dat u will find one option as view setting click on dat and der u will find the option "Send me friend requests" and now all u have 2 do is change the setting and ur work is done.

In earlier facebook settings we do have option as "No One" next to Send me Friend Request button in privacy settings, but with new look of facebook we do have only two options i.e. Everyone or Friends of Friends..

So if person has selected No One in earlier settings.. then that settings cannot be changed by Facebook coz it was set by user unless and until it is to be edited by the user now.

Other wise you can set it for Friend of Friend as follows: (if you wish)
Account>Privacy Settings> Under Basic Directory Information >Click on View settings and select the option Friend of Friends next to Send me Friend Request.
