Refresh Youtube, it might have a internet web browser detection problem. Or you could try clearing your history and refresh Youtube and then the problem might be fixed?

When Facebook started switching people over to the new timeline, there was a post going around telling you how to undo it so you would not see the timeline even if FB forced you to change. That "fix" for FB makes your IE8 or 9 think it is IE7. Did you do something like that?
