My first suggestion would be Malwarebytes
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Microsoft also has a free malware removal program that's worth a try http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-sec...moval.aspx |

do a scan with malwarebytes and then open your browser and then go to tools and find add-ons and then disable any suspicious stuff. Also go to your control panel and go to Add/remove programs (uninstall programs) and then look for suspicious junk to remove

You don't mention which browser, or antivirus your using. I agree this sounds like malware though. If Malwarebytes was updated before the scan I can't understand why it hasn't picked it up though. No antivirus or antimalware program is 100% though. If by chance you have Avast antivirus- update it and select a boot-time scan )basically a safe mode scan). I would suggest you also download, install, and update Spybot Search And Destroy (free- link to older easier to understand version below). After you update it, reboot into safe mode, open Spybot S&D, then click check for problems.

Ad block plus extension for chrome.
Then use Malware Bytes and Ad Aware SE Personal to scan your system. Hope this helps. ~Mr Rochey~ |
