How can I leave a group on the "new" Facebook?

there is a small link under the group title that says "leave group". click that and presto

first go to home... then click on the groups button at the top right corner of the page. then just click on the group and then there should be a button somewhere near the top that says leave this group and then just click it and you are out.

Goto group page, top right, leave this group option should be there.

Click "Groups" under the applications box on the right side of the screen. In the right columns you will see groups that you belong to. If you do not see the group you wish to remove yourself from, click "See All" - choose the group you wish to remove yourself from... then click "Leave Group" under the group's profile picture.

Go to the group, right under the logo or picture there's a link that says "Leave Group". :o)

If you go to the main page of the application/ group, there should be a place where it says "leave group". Click on it, then you'll be free from it!
