With my mixed views, am I a social moderate?
Things I'm liberal on:
Favor legalizing marijuana and steroids.
Oppose circumcising infants without a medical disease or defect making it necessary.
Favor net neutrality.
Favor the expansion of fair use, want the DMCA repealed.
Favor online privacy.
Favor Nudism on private property (Yes some states kick out nudists)
Favor Liquor by the drink.
Favor lowering the drinking age to 18.
Ending the FCC's censorship of TV and radio.

Things I'm conservative on:
Against abortions on healthy mothers carrying healthy pregnancies.
Support traditional marriage.
Support gun ownership, concealed carry, and stand your ground laws.
Oppose state run lotteries.
In favor of open transfer between school districts.
Support the right of the local schools to decide whether or not to hire homosexuals.
Oppose no child left behind.
View education as a privilege that if abused, the school may expel the student.
Oppose affirmative action, the government should view all persons through a colorblind lens.

I'm asking of corse on social issues. On economic issues I'm a full blown free market capitalist.

Many of the things you say you are liberal on are actually closer to libertarian views, which many believe lean closer to conservatism than liberalism.

Also, as crime associated with jail overcrowding, drug use, and organized crime in Mexico increases, the idea of legalizing or lessening restrictions for some drugs is gaining more support even among some conservatives. Libertarians support it today. Liberals might merely see it as something more to tax.

I'd say you're actually conservative more than anything else.

In my case, I'm a strong conservative except on immigration policy, where I side more with liberals although not for the same reasons. Every pro-immigrant, pro-"amnesty" thought I have I can support with conservative principles. So figure out your base principles, what you believe government should do for people, and then take your issues one by one and explain them within context of your given principles. Modify your views as needed based on that, and try to avoid letting personal emotion interfere.

Most of what you are saying you are "liberal" on isn't liberal views. It's Libertarian veiws, those are polar oposite of liberal views.

I wouldn't say you were a moderate, but I wouldn't call you extremist either.

Also I have no idea how you can oppose affermative action, but support the schools "right" to hire homosexuals or not.
Those two seriously but heads.
