Why can't I acces my Facebook account? I keep logging in on a different account which I never created.?

I created a Facebook account a month ago. I linked my email address to my Facebook account with the activation email. The next day however, the Facebook website informed me that my account was still not activated (confirmed with email), so I did this again.

But when I log into Facebook right now, I seem to acces a whole different account. The same person name, but without Friends I already added and photo's I already uploaded. But I see my 'real' account as suggested friend!

It seems both accounts are linked to my mail address now, because I also receive notifies from my 'real' facebook account. However, I am only able to login into the 'fake' account.

I am sure that I am using the correct login details.

I find it hard to contact the Face Book team. I got one answer from them a month ago, which only made them reset the password of my fake account, so that didn't really help.

Do you guys have any idea whats going on?
