What's the best way to bid a spiritual farewell to people you've known for eight years?

We're still Green in Canada (most of the time). Like the Skipper says: Just smile and wave.

Try going onto Yahoo at top right and switching off the share location.

I will miss you until you return -- whenever that will be.

I've never known anyone as nice as you. --

Looks like I'm going to have to FB too....

The best way to say goodbye is to go out with a bang.....post every VN-able question you've ever posted & let the fur fly....

Take care Chris & good luck....

Use a phone,Meds. That way even when it is purple it is green.

Facebook will.not let me use the Random Panther handle. It insists I use a real name. Bugger that,I will not even give them a fake name.

So long mate,it's been a trip.

This place will be a poorer forum without you.

I've wondered if that's part of Yahoo's purpose in changing the format--to get rid of people they perceive as "troublemakers".

I'll miss you. But I'll be back on facebook in a month or two, pushing the new, improved, COMPLETE version of Ghostvision. I hope to see you there.

I sent you a friend request. My last name is Short.
I'm sorry you're leaving. I have gotten used to the new format and I'm OK with it. It has gotten much better over the last 6 months. We will miss you, but I'm sure we can find some shenanigans to get up to on FB.

If I can't stay green, I'm gone too and I don't do FB.

Had Yahoo run this site right, it would have blown FB away....

YAY! ... Does that mean I can listen to Disco now?! O-o

Dang it man, get on the Canadian site, do whatever, but don't abandon us indefinitely.

That said, I can relate to your pain, I can't stand that purple crap + the asinine format either.

If you MUST then you MUST, Your Holiness; it'd be hard to twist your arms virtually, but drop by once in a while and treat us to your witty one-liners and brilliant sense of humor.

Thanks for all the laughs, the friendship, the heart attacks, and the Disco comments, too.

You'll be sadly missed, my friend.

Here is something that might be worth trying, if you haven't done it already:

1- Change your site to Canada [so far so good, ... I know];
2- Then, while on your Canadian profile/"my activity" page, copy the page address [it should read something like: "http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/my-activity"] and paste it onto the text box/address bar in your web browser and hit "Enter";
3- In the process you'll end up with the page address on your web browser's address bar drop-down list/history;
4- NOW, delete all your old cookies and residual Yamster Crap [but not your site address history];
4- From there on always (and only) use that page address on your address bar's drop-down list [ i.e. "http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/my-activity" ] to enter / access the site. ... Sometimes it fools the b@stards into thinking that you're really a Canadian user, even if they've grabbed your IP address.

I hope it works. ... This venue won't be the same without you.

Like (((((EsmE))))) said: "It doesn't have to be like this" -- "all We need to do is to make sure We keep talking." ... 8 years man, that's a str8 up infinity. Wink
