What's the point of getting into somebody else's Facebook account?
someone said their child's account for hacked into? why would somebody do that?

I would imagine that some people hack simply because they can. There may be a darker motive, though. People may want to read someone's messages, to see what they've been getting up to, if they're being flirtatious with anyone, etc.

For photos, access to contacts, to post rude comments, access to private information, to read private messages, etc.
It could be someone who knows the child thinks that they were talking about them so hacked to find out, or it could be some stranger hoping to steal personal information, or to prey on children. Facebook isn't a very good place for kids, unfortunately. They don't understand the risks in regards to personal information, and it allows predators to sidle right up next to them without the parents knowledge. |
