My Kindle keeps knocking off randomly..?

I only use my kindle for reading and facebook so why is it turning off? In one day it turns off at least three times:/

Hopefully that is your problem - just the screen going into power-saving mode.

If your Kindle is actually turning itself off fully on its own WHILE you are doing stuff then you may have a buggy app installed or a hardware problem. However, it seems other people have a similar problem - see if this helps:
