How can I get rid of my old statuses from showing on notification?
So here's the dilemma; my friends are going through this phase where they are liking people's old photos and old statuses and now they have started to do it on it.
Frankly, they are very (VERY) embarrassing statuses and I know that they were showing up on other people's notifications. So as a desperate measure, I deleted all of them.
So will they still be there on other people's facebook? And is there anyway to disable my 'liked' statuses from showing up on future? Or anyway to delete a record of a whole year?
Thanks!

These are the steps to delete old post from your timeline:-
1-You must know what your Timeline looks like to public users(anyone who is not your Facebook friend).
Follow these instruction:-
--Go to your Timeline,
--click on the gear icon to the right of the Activity Log,
--choose “View as”

Simply click respective date wher eyou want to change and make it “Public” to “Friends,” “Only Me,” or “Custom.”

2
--Click on the arrow in the top-right on Facebook,
--choose Privacy Settings, scroll down, and
--click on Manage Past Post Visibility.

It will show you popup message; click on the blue “Limit Old Posts” button to change the visibility of all your old posts to just “Friends”:
