LG Ally? Good Phone? Apps?

Okay, so my dad drowned my phone the other day so I am thinking about getting the LG Ally. But, i don't understand the Apps that everyone is talking about. Are they apps from like itunes? or how does that work? Also, Is a huge part of it facebook etc? cause i don't have one, and that would be a pain to deal with! thanks!!!
Also! Can you put your itunes music on it if you have an apple laptop? jw

i loooooove it. i totally didn't even know that it could have apps!
you can download games, and random apps like i have KJV Bible, flashlight, light sabre [ahahaha] and you just download them or buy them in the market that they have on the phone.
And facebook is an app but it's not a huge part..its already on there though..

and i dunno bout itunes... sorry!
