how to promote likes for a page in facebook?

i have made a page on fb, in which i post JOKES, SHayari, and funny pics...

but likes are not increasing rapidly.. pls tell me few tips/guidlines to increase my page likes..

I guess you need advertisement...I did not visited it because yahoo answer is not a place for advertisements.

1-Aap-Paagal-Hain means nothing to me, maybe it does to someone else, but not me. So maybe having a name that's more in the lines of "jokes, funny"?
2-Facebook advertising exists, so does Google Adsense and other schemes. You have to pay for them so paying for advertising is still the best way to get noticed.
3-Do not simply put the address everywhere as most people won't respect that. For example always using it in forums that are not related. You can try, but people don't like! That's why I didn't visited it in the first place!
4-Facebook is full of people, use facebook at your own advantage and invite friends, tell them to invite friends etc etc. You don't need to go all out, you just need to be interesting. And if you don't deliver, then don't linger as you missed your chance. Start over!
