What do I need to upgrade on my computer to run the latest games on high settings.?
Currently I have a pretty outdated computer. Not looking at buying a new one.
What I have: -Intel core 2 quad q8200 -Generic ACER mobo. (lol) -6gb ddr2 pc6400 -gtx 560 Ideally Id like to spend no more then 500 to upgrade it. Also, i anticipated upgrading the computer so I have a 700 watt ps. Thanks. Ads |

I would use the money for a new pc. its not worth building it up as it needs almost everything

It is time to upgrade the entire system to run the latest game on high settings. You need to have much better RAM, DDR3 1600MHz instead of what you currently have. I would upgrade the graphics card to a GTX 740 at least. And the processor and motherboard also would need upgrading. You could reuse the case if you had to, depending on how handy you are with working on computers, but it would probably be best to switch that out for a better case that has USB 3.0 ports and the like. Instead of spending $500 to upgrade that system(or to try to), you could spend around $1,000 and build your own computer and get a much better product.
