Emoji for Android, please help guys?

I have a Motorola Moto G smartphone and I'm sick of seeing my friends being able to use emoji and I'm the only one who can't! My phone has a few smileys but not many & theyre really random. This is all of them:♥★♪♬◢◣◤◥♂♀▲▼█■㏂㏘✔✘∴∵⇦⇧⇨⇩‧ツ─
Its annoying cause i have the emoji keyboard but it only works on the Facebook app otherwise just leaves a blank space.
I reaaallllyyyy want emoji because my phone can read emoji just has its own version (not the black and white one, the update one) its so annoying is there ANY WAY to get the keyboard and it to work?! Without jailbreaking or bricking it?
