Is UC Davis concidered prestegious?

Is UC Davis concidered prestegious, with the likes of like stanford and UCLA? and how hard is it to get into UC Davis?

UC Davis is a fine school. UCLA, UC Berkeley, Stanford, Caltec and the like a more difficult to get in. But if you need to think that way, 20 years from now it won't matter what university you went to, as long as you received a sensible degree that will make you employable.

It depends on what you consider prestigious. It is not as well known or great as UCLA or Stanford, but it is still a great school that is difficult to get into.

as for the distinct differences in what makes them so great, well i don't know. i suppose how much research funding each school gets has something to do with it.

here is a google search for what makes ucla unique. i guess you could do more research and try to find out what specific reasons people want to go to each school. you can also learn about each school by reading their newspaper and twitter and facebook feed to find out about the research they are doing and the services that they offer.
