best way to get likes on a facebook page without telling friends?

Just made a facebook page and I want to know how to get it popular without telling friends as most of my friends aren't interested in the subject and I want to keep private on it, but is that even possible? Are there any ways without paying for ads either?

Well, what I would do if I were you is look for groups that have similar beliefs as your page. Ask to join the group and post the link to your page with a bit of info on your page. I would also check to make sure that is okay to do so before you post your page.
