Is it wrong to read my sisters tweets?

Me and my half sister are very distant even though we live in the same town. We used to only talk to each other through emails and text but lately shes been very distant in even that means of communication. So I started reading her Twitter account to better understand who she is and i discovered shes completely different then she was when we were talking. I don't respect her any less but it almost feels like I'm reading a very high tec diary. With her going to a college after summer and in a different state I probably won't be in touch with her at all when she leaves so heres my 2 part question. Is it an invasion of her privacy to go through her Twitter account every other day.( probably every day) without her knowing. and do i need to give my little sister space to keep a healthy relationship or do I push harder to get her attention so she wont leave haten me.
