There's this girl who's 'following' me on Facebook?

By following I mean, that she gets a notification whenever I post a photo or status. But I don't want this person following me anymore, is there anyway I could make her to unfollow my account? I don't just want to ask her to stop, because I know for a fact she won't. Or if I unfriend her then friend her again will Facebook automatically make her account unfollow mine?
Follow up question, is there a way where I could check from my account who follows me? Thanks!
ALSO: On Facebook they use the term "close friends" when you are following someone. If you get a notification from someone when they post a photo/status and it has a yellow star next to their name, that likely means you are following them.
