Should I ask her mother if i can propose?
So me and my gf ( yes we are both girls, and if u have a prob with that then don't continue reading) are both freshman in college. ill be 20 soon and shell be 19 in july. she's ready to get engaged but is afraid of her families reaction.they already know we are dating. we've been dating for 3 years…. so she's not ready because she wants her family to be happy. Ik ik we are young but we've been together for a long time. also she wants me to ask her mom before i propose to her…..so should i ask her mom in advance now or wait later in 2015……Let me know what you think. My gf talked to her mom and said that we might get engaged the next couple of years and she's like isn't that soon? its soon for her because we told her we were dating after a year of us dating so yeah. any suggestions?!?! thanks! also id be texting or facebooking her mom

College is typically time for sexual experimentation. Let the experiment end naturally and find yourself a nice man who will show you how wonderful it is to be a woman.

If your grown and mature enough to get married then you need to ask her mom in person rather than over a text or facebook.

Being engaged means you're actively planning the wedding. Don't get engaged until your senior year, and plan the wedding for after you graduate.
When you ask her mom, it should be in person. If that's not possible because of distance, then the phone is your only other option. Don't just text it or use social media. |

Do you ask someone's permission if you have to go to the potty too? Last time I checked, people over the age of 18 were considered adults.
