Can you call yourself a follower of god if? ?

I have an old friend who I found out he's a follower of god and started going to chrich. He still go to clubs drink acts out calls people names when they get him mad. On his Facebook page he has pics of him drinking the comments he makes about them like he is happy to drink. The stuff he says when he's made at some one using swear woulds. Is he really a follower of god he his to chrich too. Too can is he really one or is he faking it. Since he ant willing to change

Paul said that if we want to serve God we must get rid of the old personality and put on a new one. God's people do not do the things you describe although most of us did before we became God's servant.

The person you describe could actually be found in almost any church. This is a clue. The bible says that you will know God's servants by the fruit they produce. The truth changes a person's life for the better.
You will find people who have given up their bad traits and live to represent God in only one church. It is up to you to find it. If you ask God for help, He will give it to you.

Not for me to judge but according to the bible he has not repented and is no different that a non-believer.

Why the close minded bigotry?

Jesus not only drank wine he changed water into it and said to use wine to represent his blood!

So what restrictions do you place on yourself - must you wear your Sunday best to go to church?

Must you just go one on a Sunday or do you go every day?

If you really beleived in a loving god you would act like it!

God would love to have every sinner in the world enter his church so why do you think you should keep them out?

If he does these things he is not a follower of GOD. He might go to church but that doesn't mean he is saved, lots of people are going to be in for a shock over this. Salvation doesn't come from the church it comes from JESUS only. When you recieve salvation your life changes, doesn't sound like this is the case here. You might want to go the the pastor of his church and see if he would talk to this man about real salvation.
