Unfriend old best friend on social media?
I was friends with this girl for about three years. We were great together, and neither of us had feelings for the other. It was always a true friendship. However at the end of the summer, she distanced herself from me. She's had two boyfriends in the time I've known her, but I never got in her way nor did it stop her from texting me daily and hanging often. She unexpectedly cut off all contact with me over two months ago. At first I thought she was just busy, but then it became more clear that she just didn't want to talk to me. I only texted twice asking how she was, and then facebook messaged her once (where I saw she viewed it). I am very conscious of giving people their space. Im not clingy or text constantly. Not sure what exactly happened there...
My real question is since our friendship has deteriorated, should I delete her off social media since she wants nothing to do with me anymore? Ads |

What good would that do? It will only create animosity where none may exist. Just let it go and back off if that's what she needs right now. Friendships can run in cycles...just because you're not close now doesn't mean you won't be at some future time and it doesn't mean that 10 years from now she might know of the perfect job for you or the perfect companion but she might be embarrassed to contact you if she has to "re-friend" you. Probably in 10 years everyone will have shifted to some other new social media and just don't add her to those that you move to.
