how to close facebook account?

When I sign on, so many layers of FB instruction and so little of my content appears that I can't unscramble it and would rather close account and start a new one. Can this be done and if so how? Working from laptop.

actually it's against the rules to cancel your account and create a new one

To Close your Facebook Account

To Delete It With A Possible Recovery Later On

Go to Account Settings Than Security Than Deactivate

Once you Click on Delete my Account Do Not Login For 14 Days

And it Will Be Deleted

go into your account and click on log out,or you can choose to deactivate your account by going into your privacy section and click on deactivate account.since youre going to get a new facebook account id check the community guidelines rules first,youre only allowed to have one account.
