How do I ask out a 23 year old musician that I barely know who lives 6 hours from me by train?

Okay, so this guy I kinda have my eye on is in this underground metal band and he is about 23 years old. He lives about 6 hours away from me by train and we've never irl so far (but i'm hopefully running into him at his gig in a month which is in the capital of his country which is about 30 minutes from my home). We've talked a little online but I'm dying to get to know him better.

He's friendly and so incredibly gorgeous and hot. I'm 17 btw, but I'm way more mature than most 17 year olds and I've dated guys in their 20's before.

I'm wondering, would this ever work? Would he ever be into me? How should I do to make him like me? I'm just so confused and all I know is I want him >_>
