My friend created 10 fake Facebook profiles?

My friend who is 13 has made over 10 fake Facebook profiles and WILL NOT admit it's her. I have called her on it many times and have tried to convince her it's not safe or healthy to pretend to be somebody else.

She has lied to a great amount of friends about these fakes and has made up huge life stories for each of them. She comments on her photos and has conversations with them over Facebook and it's really super weird when you are the only one who knows she is having conversations with herself.

No she hasn't hurt anyone with these profiles, but she is digging herself into a hole of lies that she will soon be buried in. She has lied so much to all of her friends about these people that is anyone else finds out I'm afraid she will lose all of them. I also think that she has lied so much about these people that she is starting to convince herself that they are real and that they are her only trusted friends.

How can I convince her to delete these profile? I know I can report them, but I would rather her realize it's wrong and I want her to delete them herself. Any suggestions would be great, thanks a ton!

I would just keep reporting them as fake profiles, eventually she will get bored of creating new accounts for them to be deleted within a week. Or you could contact facebook with your concern.

how do you know they are fake profiles that she made? they might be real people on the other end of those profiles... how can you be so sure?

Facebook is reported to be loosing friends. I believe that either many people with fake accounts are closing them down or people are tired of fakes contacting them..

About your friend, change must come within...

don't worry about it shell learn her lesson when one of the 10 profiles get disabled because it violates facebook policies
