What's the deal with Snapchat?

Friends and people I know all have snapchats. They really want me to get one but I really don't see the point in it. Should I just get one? Or just not mess with it.

I also hear things about it like people screens shooting pics and sharing them on instagram and stuff. I wouldn't really trust it. What should I do?

I didn't really like it either - To be honest I still dislike it.

A few friends were asking me to get it and I finally gave in; it's not that bad.

It's just a fun way of communicating with your friends. A picture can often explain something better than words can.

People CAN screenshot your pics and distribute them elsewhere, but if you're only snapping with your friends, you'd trust them not to do that, right? Just don't send anything you don't want other people to see.
