how am i supposed to add a friend on facebook.the button disapeared?

for some reason i cant add my friend on facebook..i looked for the friend button but its gone :O it just wont let me! she has no mutual friends but does that matter? thanks everyone!

If you have already 5000 friends then you have reached the Facebook friend limit and you can add anyone. otherwise she set her add friend options to friend of friends. No mutual friend is matter in this case. If you have mutual friend then you can send her friend request
