How popular and relevant are those military humor pages in the actual military?
Like JTTOTS and f'n boot on Facebook. They're funny but can be fu*ked up. I don't like how they're always making fun of "wooks"

Is that really what it's like in there? I don't mind being called a wook I actually have a decent sense of humor compared to most butt hurt girls, but I don't see myself tolerating being called a barracks rat or a sammich maker. So what is it really like compared to the pages?
The comments also make marines seem like as*holes which I know I shouldn't stereotype all of them as that which is why I'm asking if everyone is like this in there??

A barracks rat is just someone who hangs out in the barracks a lot. I call my guys that all the time, because I got 2 of them who don't like to go out and do stuff. They'd rather stay in and save money. A barracks bunny, though...that's bad. It means you've earned the reputation of being a slut. So, conduct yourself accordingly, and you won't be called that.

Women get called a "sammich maker" in the military all the time. Because of the interwebs, it's become a pretty much accepted sexist joke. Just roll with the punches and come back with a good line, instead of getting pissed off about it. Like "Woman, go make me a sammich," you say something like "I would, but you can't shoot for sh!t so there's no meat for it."

In the end, being a woman in the military, you have to work to earn respect - JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Do your job, and do it well, and you will be respected. Be a whiny Marine who doesn't want to pitch in and get things done, whether it's something menial like cleaning the company area, or a big thing like pulling your weight in a field exercise, and you won't be respected. Give everything 100% effort, and you'll be respected.

The Marines who create and take part in those pages are the ones you want to avoid while in the USMC.

They are the super insecure and rely on belittling others to make them feel good and they do not represent the entire Marine Corps.

I'm all for a good laugh, but those fools who take those pages seriously day after day have some serious issues.

If not seen the two you mentioned, but, military people like humour too!

Some of the humour can be sexist, and racist, although there is less and less of that.
