Running for treasurer for drama club!?

I'm running for treasurer for my drama club. Part of that is also PUBLICITY and MARKETING, so I need to include that in my speech. Please help!

Are you talking about being responsible for publicity and marketing as treasurer? If yes, you should talk about how you will advertise to the broadest segment of the student body using posters, social media - Twitter, Facebook - neighborhood fliers that get left at the local stores, and advertising in the school newspaper. I would focus a lot on social media, given that that's probably the best way to get the word out to the student body about whatever you guys are doing. Also, coordinate efforts with the PTA and all the other student organizations to get some publicity there.

You should create a Facebook page for the drama club, and a Twitter account, then use both to mail out info to all the kids in school.

Say it confidently and BOOM, you will sound like you really know your stuff! (Which you will!)
