Facebook problems. Can not access?

Hi, I cannot get on to facebook at the moment, if I use a proxy server it works but not on my original IP. Also does not work on my android phone.

Please help if you know what I can do

Your general IP might have been blacklisted, your ISP provider might have blocked the page, or your internet/wifi settings have blocked Facebook's IP address.

Considering the first two are unlikely, you could try to go to your modem settings(normally either 10.0.10.1 or 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, depending on your carrier), and ensure facebook is not on a banned server.

Additionally, you could also try to access facebook via 3G data networks that your phone provides. If that does not work, you might want to contact Facebook's customer service lines or FAQ's.

Your IP got blacklisted or you have some sort of malware. Proxies are well know sources for malware and identity theft.

Check for malware.

Then buy a good VPN.

Whatever you do don't fall for the bogus review on the so called best VPN review sites. They are all scams where the best reviewed VPN's are the ones that pay the review site the most money. Even the customer reviews on these sites are phoney.

Also fancy VPN sites with instant gratification and setup are subject to getting hacked, like purevpn did last month. Customer emails and names were stolen and used by the hackers.

Stick with a company that emphasizes security and network protection.
