How Do You Stop Facebook from Posting on your wall, and I mean FACEBOOK putting ads, for apps and games or telling me what other friends are playing. I do not care and I am fed up with all the posts by FACEBOOK. I have already blocked all games in the security section but FACEBOOK insists on trying to get me to play them.
Thanks. Done ALL the usual stuff in the security section and enlarged the screen so I don't see anything on the right hand side. But now FACEBOOK is actually posting on my wall with stuff I can't edit or erase. I guess FACEBOOK is in control. I still have the option to quit I suppose.

facebook owns facebook. they're going to do what they want with their site, and while I don't like it either, there's nothing you can do about this.

I know how exactly how you feel!. I usually click remove or report as spam lol.
At your friends profile unclick games, apps and click show important updates.
Add games to your block list so you don't requests to play games. As for the advertisements I hover over them and click remove . I click on the icon "not interesting". Hope this helps you.
