Help with buying and selling on ebay?

I have been recently buying items such as video games on Gumtree and the Facebook selling sites and selling them on Ebay under a private sellers account.

Is this aloud as long as I stay under the limits of 100 items a month or £3500 whichever comes first?
If not what will happen if I continue to buy and sell these items?

It's fine. Why wouldn't it be? You buy the items. It's your business what you do with it after.

You'll have to register as a business seller and you'll need to pay taxes.
