Newsfeed on Facebook app won't load. ?

I recently updated my Facebook app on my iPod touch, excuse iTunes showed I was ready for an update. Ever since then I haven't been able to load my Newsfeed. It says "connection unavailable".

~refreshing browser
~restarting internet explorer
~restarting computer
~turning your computer on and off again
