Do people still use windows live messenger D:?

Out of the 60-70 contacts I had frequently going on.. seriously only 10 or less are now frequent users while 2-3 years have elapsed. Everyone's moving to fb with shitty chat IM interface, I still see Windows live messenger as the most convenient and easy going IM that has great privacy in conversations and interface. Or am I just wrong and that WLM is still popular .. ?

I have it but never use it. I use AIM it is much much easier and you can associate all your Face Book friends with AIM and they are on your buddy list and you are notified each time one comes online or goes off line.
You can chat with them without logging on to face book. Or any other people you have on your buddy list.

I used to use it, but then all my contacts moved to Facebook and I had noone to talk to, then my Hotmail account got hacked and I had to delete it so now I can't go on it.

I used to use it all the time, and at least 20 people or more would all be online at the same time, but i recently installed it again, where i see about 2 people. Its all because of facebook.

I used to use it all the time like a couple years ago. It is still on my iPod and laptop, however I barely use it. It's all about Skype and FB chat for me.

However since I don't go on the website Facebook a lot, only to chat my friends. I used WLM to chat with my FB friends. Now that the Facebook Messenger came out, I disconnected Facebook from WLM and used the new Facebook Messenger instead. So yeah.
