Facebook - privacy settings?

on facebook, is there a way to stop tagged photos from showing up on specific peoples time line?


example, Sam, Tom, Matt go somewhere ...

Sam takes a photo, posts it to facebook and tags himself, Tom and Matt ...

Jake is checking his facebook

Sam, Matt and Tom are friends
Tom and Jake are friends (Jake is not FB friends with either Sam or Matt)

Tom doesnt want Jake to see the photo, displayed on his (Jake) news feed, but if Jake visited toms profile, the photo would be there..

jake can still see status updates that Tom posts and display on the news feed ...

is there a way to do that through privacy/ other settings?

better way is block, block them who you dont want see.
