I'm sick of people saying #thisandthat it's getting really old but the sad thing is no matter how old it gets it's not going to go away because of fucking social media

I think it is beginning to have very shallow and tacky connotations, as it is linked to social media sites, particularly instagram, and therefor &#x27;selfies&#x27; and vanity. I think when it is used in conversation sarcastically it is trying to mock vain, stupid trash.
