My reptiTherm heating pad isn't heating up?
I bought the medium size heating pad from Petsmart because I'm getting a snake today, and I plugged it in last night, and it's not warm at all. I want to get it warm first because it's only 30° outside, so I want to get him into the heat as fast as I possibly can. Why isn't it working? Is there a switch that I didn't turn on or a something g?

It may be damaged. There is a little square black piece that tells the heater to turn on if it has been smashed by the tank or anything else it will not work. I would take it back to petsmart and get another one. Or you can use heat lamps for now to help heat the tank up. If you are getting a corn, king, or milk snake. Check out my facebook page at Corn Snake Facts and Question you will get a lot of information on this page. You can also post pics of your snake or any other questions you may have. I have years of experience with corn, milk, and king snakes. Hope to see you on this page!
