How should I promote my website and apps in Facebook?
I have a fairly successful movie trivia website and a few successful movie trivia apps available on iPhone and Android. But I haven't yet utilized Facebook as a way to market or promite my website or apps. Just to get me started, what kind of Facebook account should I sign up for? A regular user account, a business account, or from my personal Facebook page just create a "Movie Trivia" group? I want people to be engaged - making comments and sharing trivia questions and answers. What strategy is best?

You could try using their PPC services and maybe make a facebook app thats related to the android / iphone apps etc.

You could try other advertising methods like advertising on related websites.
