Chrome opens new tab when I click link in Google Search.?
I just recently updated my Chrome browser since Secunia PSI told me to. But now when I search something on Google and I try to click one of the links, it opens a new tab for the link instead of opening it on the original tab. This only happens with Google search result links, like if I click something on Facebook the link will open on the Facebook page instead of opening on a new tab.

I tried changing the settings on Chrome but no luck. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Simple way to fix this is
Press Windows Key + R to bring up command prompt.

Enter " %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data " without quotes and press enter..
You will find a "Default" folder .. Delete this folder and load chrome.
It will be reset to default settings.

Hope it helps Smile
