I want to delete my Facebook account but I'm so confused?

Deleting my Facebook account was something I thought I'd never do and just came to my mind some days ago. I've been thinking of doing it because it steals my valuable time and has been involved in my life for the past 3,5 years.

I want so badly to delete it and get a life - okay, I'm not that addicted but I admit I waste most of my time there - but I'm confused and afraid of a lot of things. Firstly, I have a FarmVille player and stuff and I've gone through so far and I have a villa and a big level and I feel guilty if I lose that although I don't play FV for the past 6 months. I know, that's weird! And my says it'd be sad to lose a farm like this because she likes playing from both mine and her account. So I feel qualms and guilty. Secondly, my whole high school has an account and they will freaking annoy me all the time about it although they never really comment/liked my stuff on FB. And third, I'm afraid I will regret doing it although I don't have a specific reason to regret apart from FarmVille but...

I know, this may sounds stupid and boring but I really need to do it sometime and go on with my life without logging in to find out the latest news.

Your opinion will be helpful and useful. Just don't be offensive.

maybe you could keep your account but not get on it a lot. You could just leave it so all you hard work isn't lost and your friend can still play your FV. Also you could just check FB once a week or so to break your habit but everyone could be happy,
