please help... instagram wont let me put the whole picture with out cropping?

i dont know how to put the whole pic on instagram i have and andriod phone so do i have to download and app im sorry i keep asking the same question...any answer appreciated

Instagram crops all pictures to a square.

If your image isn't square to begin with, Instagram will crop it to a square. Instagram only does squares.

If you want to edit images, maintaining the aspect ratio of your original, get a proper image editor instead - the kind that you use on a computer (not a phone).

There are many free image editors:
