yahoo deleted my contacts?

I am totally P**sed off. Once again Yahoo has cheerfully deleted contacts from my email account. I'm supposed to be pleased !
Yahoo, Leave my contact list alone and let me decide when I want to delete contacts. Also, I DO NOT want to move my Gmail or Facebook contacts over to Yahoo. One more time and Yahoo can count me out as a client.

I'm not sure why you're upset. You agreed to Yahoo's TOS when you created your account and one of them was that they can update their systems as they see fit. Yahoo performs periodic maintenance and one of these actions is to remove any invalid email addresses from any address books they reside in. They send you an email when they do to inform you of the changes that were made. They also offer to restore these deleted contacts but you must submit a Yahoo Contact Restore form within 10 days of the deletion or they will be lost permanently.
